Painting Workshop — Messengers
This workshop is inspired by my ongoing collection of paintings, Messengers – a body of work responding to birds and birdsong.
Together, we’ll explore how sound and movement, translates into mark, tone and colour. Whether your style leans towards abstraction or realism, this workshop encourages you to work in a way that feels natural and expressive to you.
We’ll begin the day with coffee on arrival before experimenting with techniques, colour and ways of interpreting sound through gesture and paint application. Through a series of preliminary studies, you’ll gradually develop a larger, more resolved piece that brings together your explorations from the day.
This workshop is designed to help you loosen up creatively, discover new freedom within your painting practice and have fun!
Time: 10:30am – 4pm (Saturday); Location: My studio in Bissoe; Group Size: 4 participants; Cost: £100. NB -VIP members receive a 10% discount on all workshops.
