You are invited to explore creativity with the seasons and the rhythm of the beautiful Community Roots garden. They are perfect if you feel inspired by nature, value sustainability and care about the environment. This workshop is to help you start or further develop your sketchbook practice. I will teach you how to capture a fleeting moment in time. Ill teach you more than just trying to draw what’s in front of you but more importantly how to sketch the energy, texture and rhythm, and trust your own mark making and intuition to document your unique response to what you see, feel and hear.

Free parking is available at Community Roots.

Each workshop will be themed around what’s happening in the garden that month. ART for All SEASONS is all about tuning into and responding to the seasonal progression of the year.

No experience is needed, just openness, curiosity and a willingness to explore the use of a variety of materials and techniques in a creative, welcoming and supportive environment.

Come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting paint on

All necessary materials and equipment will be provided, and refreshments will be available to keep us energized throughout the session.

Suitable for all levels – from beginners to more experienced artists.
