Description

Moving into… CONTRAST

This is your chance to explore tonal contrast, where the interplay of light and dark can be used to dramatic effect.

Have you ever been captivated by a painting and wondered what really draws you in? Often, it’s not just the colours but the masterful manipulation of tone that brings depth and impact to the piece. In this workshop, we’re shifting the spotlight from colour to tone and exploring how it can be a powerful tool to help you enhance your artwork.

Expect a playful and engaging experience as you experiment with tonal contrasts through a variety of mediums, including pastels, acrylic paints, and collage. You’ll create a series of studies that explore how tone can transform a simple composition into something powerful and evocative.

Whether you’re looking to enhance your technical skills or simply want to explore a new artistic approach, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to deepen your understanding of tonal dynamics. Join me to discover how tone can truly do the heavy lifting.

Reserve your place today and prepare to see art through a new lens—where contrast and tone take centre stage!
