REMNANTS OF AN INDIAN SUMMER

Plein air fine liner on watercolour paper prepared with gesso, with watercolour, ink pencils and posca pen applied on my return to my studio.

The weather is mild in Cornwall compared to the rest of the UK. This peninsula is warmed by the sea that surrounds it and consequently some trees are reluctant to let go of their leaves until late autumn. So, despite being November there are still some green leaves on the trees and a humidity that keeps frosts away.
