SAND PIT HILL

‘Sand Pit Hill‘ encapulates the essence of a particularly vibrant winter’s day during my visit to Devon for a wassailing celebration in 2023. It depicts my meander down a hill towards Farway village, distilling my sensory experience of my walk, bathed in winter sunlight, casting a warm, golden glow. The undulating terrain with the walls and hedges standing tall guide the viewer’s gaze and highlight the serpentine nature of the wending lanes of Devon.
