WREN lino print

Wren Lino print

This small lino print seeks to capture the resonance of the wren’s song—a tiny bird with a remarkably powerful voice. Positioned just off-centre, the wren is framed by surrounding foliage that becomes more than setting, symbolising the sharp, lilting quality of its call. The composition translates sound into form, suggesting the energy and clarity of the bird’s voice through line and pattern.
